People need to take a step back, and relax. We don’t know what the heck is going on in this scene between Finchel and Klaine. It’s one scene out of a whole bunch of episodes. I understand people are freaking out that this will be “xmas 2.0” ..but really..just wait and see. I’m not going to jump to any assumptions.

If we think back to what we have gotten in the past from seeing filming, what have we seen?

Back when they were filming the xmas episode in season 2…Finchel were fighting, but people saw them kiss in the tree lot..so everyone thought they’d be fine, and what happened?

Meanwhile, later in the season they shot in NYC for Nationals, and they shot a scene on the street with Finn tries to kiss Rachel, and she runs away..what happened after that? Finchel got back together.

It just goes to prove that you can’t assume things from what you see being filmed..ESPECIALLY when it is one scene, and the season hasn’t even started yet.

Eh..i'm still not too worried about Finchel. Bring on the angst!!

It doesn’t appear as though Cory is filming today, since there is zero sign of Darren. So I’m wondering if maybe the crew guy got confused, and when he said they were filming a double date between Finchel and Klaine, he thought they were filming it now, when maybe they are filming it the next time they come to NYC?? Just a thought..I can obviously be wrong..but just thought I’d throw the possibility out there.

Fantasy sequence? Flashback?

I am more convinced now that what they are filming is a fantasy sequence. I also am sort of starting to think the musical performance between Dean and Rachel is a fantasy sequence as well (just like they did with most of the performances in the Britney episode in season 2)

RM is probably laughing his ass off right now. He knew what was being filmed today, he also knew that most fans would probably see it since it's in the middle of NYC. He also made sure to give us bits of spoilers for Finchel last night and start the #StayAwayBrody hash tag.

Do you know if Chris has been on set this week for the BS tribute? Just curious if will still be in Lima in episode 2 or if he left for NY at the end of episode 1.

I have no idea if Chris has been on set. With Lea not being on set, the spoilers are harder to come by..haha.

I know they filmed Chris last week with luggage, so that means he either heads to NYC at the end of episode 1, or beginning/end of episode 2. I’m going to guess he’ll head there by the end of the first episode, but I honestly don’t know for sure.

It might a duet with Brody that Lea is recording today. He tweeted a picture of himself in the studio, for the first time.

Maybe, but i’m pretty sure he said a couple of days ago he was in the studio recording a song, so this wouldn’t be his first time there.

Also him being in there today doesn’t mean it’s a duet…The cast comes and goes in the studio all the time..but you never know..could be.

I know not judge before seeing it but after everything she said last year and given that Rachel is supposed to be the type that doesn't give up, they better have a good explanation as to why they haven't spoken. I could see her consider a relationship with Brody and then think against it. Why can't she hunt Finn down or bring him to NY and tell him she knows what she wants? It just feels like everyone just wants him to appear in NY and they will go from there.

I’m not really sure how this makes Rachel seem like she’s still in high school. As far as we know..this guy shows interest in her, and that’s it. Lea said herself last night that Rachel isn’t really interested, and is still trying to figure out what is going on with Finn. Does that mean she won’t begin to like this guy? Who knows. I just think it’s way to premature for people to start freaking out that she’s going to get with this guy, fall madly in love, and forget about Finn. Maybe she will like the guy, maybe they’ll try to date..but something tells me IF that happens, it’ll just lead her back to Finn (Kinda like Fuinn 2.0) Rachel isn’t giving up, she is just listening to Finn when he said she has to live her life…how can she chase after him when we have heard that no one knows where Finn is?

Bottom line is just that I think people are overreacting over something that could very well be nothing. Even the actor who is playing Brody said himself he feels like his character will be more of a mentor towards Rachel, and maybe that’s all it’ll turn into. Who knows..but people need to relax a bit and wait to see how it plays out.

Do you really think they would give it away though that something would happen between Rachel and Brody right at the start? Of course, they are going to be vague and hint to things. It seems like they have already changed storylines anyway. Sorry, but why does everyone want jealous Finn? If anything I would be annoyed that my ex-finacee was flirting or getting involved with the first guy that came along. I know they haven't spoken in months but it all seems very high school Rachel to me. CONT

Okay i’m going to answer in the two parts you sent me the question.

I agree that I don’t think they would give anything away if Rachel in fact did become interested in this guy, with that being said..you have to look back at last season. Last season, we heard about Sebastian. A guy who was going to show interest in Blaine. People started FREAKING OUT that he would break up Klaine and all these horrible things..meanwhile, what ended up happening? Nothing. He caused a tiny bit of tension, and that was it. I”m not saying that’s going to happen with this situation..i’m just saying that it could, and that people are looking way to deep into something when they shouldn’t. I don’t think they have changed the SL at all. We all know Finchel will end up together..i’m not shocked at all that they want to throw in a possible LI for Rachel. It causes drama. This is tv show, they will go for as much drama as they can.

It has already been set that Finchel are going to end up together..so no one can be worried about that..and honestly, after the interview with that guy and with Lea..I get the feeling it won’t be as big of a deal as people think it’ll be. I think he’ll be interested..it’ll make her question what is going on with her and Finn..maybe she’ll look at him a different light since I mean, look at what they are making this guy into..an older guy who has been on broadway?? that’s Rachel’s dream..she’s going to want to learn everything about what he’s been through…but at the end of the day, I think Finn will triumph (duh) and Brody will end up just being a mentor in Rachel’s life. Even the actor is making it out like he’s more of a mentor then anything.

Plus, anyone notice the guy saying that he may cause some tension between Rachel and Finn which would indicate Finn comes to NYC? I think Finn will come to NYC, see the friendship they have, and get jealous..I honestly don’t think Rachel will date this guy..maybe just flirt. That’s def the vibe i’m getting.

If all Brody is going to do is to cause drama before the inevitable Finchel, I might be finding something else to watch besides Glee on Thursday nights or I will be concentrating on my school work instead. I am curious as to why they made him a series regular after saying all summer that they are concentrating on a smaller cast.
